On September 30, Shanxi Linxian Huaye Coal Industry officially became a demonstration unit for Sany Heavy Equipment's intelligent bolter boring machines. This collaboration marks a further advancement in the application of intelligent fully integrated tunneling equipment in the mining sector, providing valuable and replicable experience for mechanized and intelligent tunneling operations in Shanxi and across the nation.

Since 2009, Huaye Coal Industry has introduced Sany tunneling equipment, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership between the two companies. After years of use and cooperation, Sany tunneling machines have performed reliably in Huaye Coal Industry's operations, with no major incidents, earning Huaye Coal Industry's full trust. In November 2021, Huaye Coal Industry first trialed the EBZ160M-2 intelligent anchor driller and put it into operation, becoming the first intelligent tunneling face in Lin County.
 

The newly upgraded EBZ160M-2A intelligent bolter miner currently in service at Huaye Coal Industry features multiple operating modes, including both underground and surface-based centralized control. It offers autonomous and precise positioning, beyond-line-of-sight control, and remote operation distances exceeding 1000m. Based on a combined inertial navigation and radar system, it enables automatic calibration, automatic machine movement, and automatic footage, with a cross-section profile error of ≤10cm. Its underground electronic fence, powered by UWB and thermal imaging technology, provides dual protection, with a personnel recognition success rate exceeding 99.99%, and seamless machine shutdown upon entry into the alarm range.

Since its launch in 2006, Sany Heavy Equipment's anchor drillers have been continuously improved through continuous practice and optimization, actively listening to user feedback, and striving to continuously enhance their reliability, adaptability, operability, and safety.

High-strength drill boom system: Utilizing high-strength steel plates with a 100% increase in yield strength, it can withstand greater loads and ensure long-term, efficient operation.

Extreme drilling depth: The horizontal layout of the anchor drill reduces the height of the machine body while increasing the single-shot drilling depth (1.7m). It can accommodate a variety of drill rod sizes (1.0, 1.2, and 1.5m), reducing the number of anchor cable connections and unloading operations, and improving drilling efficiency.

Optimized operating platform: The dual-side standing platform design provides more comfortable and convenient operation for underground workers.

Quadruple safety interlock system: Hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and emergency stop locks ensure operator safety.
